Governor Banwarilal Purohit said, "I am a chancellor of the university and I have power under the Madurai Kamaraj University Act. Many people come to the stage during any university conventions, which are difficult to remember. Any allegations against me are all baseless. '
He said, "In this matter the truth will emerge and action will be taken against the culprits." Action will be taken against all those who will be named in the inquiry report. The entire fairness will be born in the matter. '

The accused lecturer has been arrested and the police is interrogating him. The committee has been formed to investigate the matter.
