.History of Gandhi Jayanti

Gandhi was born on 2 October 1869 and it was a prominent political and spiritual leader within India. He was the leader of Satyagraha, who believed in resistance to atrocities through collective civil disobedience, which was completely established on non-violence. The movement led India to independence and its efforts have inspired the later movements inspired by civil rights and freedom throughout the world.

 

How are Gandhi Jayanti celebrated?
