Caesarion | Early life | 22 June | Ptolemy XV Philopator Philometor Caesar | Wiki Caesarion was born in Egypt on June 23, 476 BC. His mother Cleopatra insisted that he was Julius Caesar's son. The Kaiserian was inherited and shown in the way of Caesar, but Caesar apparently did not accept it officially.
Caesar's supporter, Guy Opius, wrote a booklet that tried to prove that Caesar could not face Kaiserian. Nevertheless, Caesar would have allowed the Kaiserian to use its name. The matter became controversial when Cesar's adoptive son Oktavian came in conflict with Cleopatra.
In some medical literature, Kaiserian is believed to be suffering from epilepsy, a neurological condition apparently inherited from his father Julius Caesar. This thesis was recently received by polypathologist Francesco M. Gallic and surgeon Hutan Ashrafian has rejected,
Who have shown how the first mention of the missile attacks can be found only in the 20th century novels, rather than the ancient primitive sources, and how inaccurately the controversial belief in Julianus Caesar's alleged epilepsy in the history-medicine argument Used, to strengthen the notion that the dictator is actually suffering from that illness.
Caesarean spent two infant years in Rome from 46 to 44 BC, where he and his mother were guests of Caesar. Cleopatra hoped that his son would eventually become his father's successor as the Roman Republic along with the Roman Republic. After the murder of Caesar on 15 March 44 CE, Cleopatra and Caesarean returned to Egypt.
Caesarean was given the name of co-ruler by his mother at the age of three on 2 September, 44 B.C., although he was only a Pharaoh in the name, Cleopatra gave himself the right to himself. Cleopatra compared his relationship with his son to Egyptian goddess Isis and his divine child Horos.
During the stress period that reached the final conflict between Mark Antony (Marcus Antonius) and Octavian (future emperor Augustus), two of them initially shared the control of the Republic in a triangle with lepidus. In 36 BC, Lepidus was forced to retire by Ottavian. Octavian and Mark Antony were left in control of the western and eastern provinces respectively.
There is no historical record of caesarean until the donation of antioch in 36 BC to AD 4 BC. Two years later he also appears on the donation of Alexandria. Cleopatra and Antony staged both "donations" to donate the country dominated by Cleopatra by Rome and Parthia: 11-year-old Kaiserian (considered to be born by Julius Caesar)
And four-year-old twin Alexander Helios and Cleopatra Selen II in the beginning, 36 BC, and 34-year-old Ptolemy Philadelphus (three collected by Mark Three Antony). Octavian gave public approval to the donations of antioxidants in 36 BC, which has been described as an Antonian strategy to rule over the use of pre-use of the unique royal cellusid genealogy in the donated areas.
In 34 BC, Antony gave East Africa land and titles to his three children with Cleopatra in the charity of Kaiserian and Alexandria. Kaiserian was declared a deity, son of a deity, and "king of kings". This grand title was "unprecedented in the management of Roman Client-King relationships" and it could be seen as threatening the "greatness" of the Roman people. "
Antony also declared Caesar's true son and successor. This announcement was a direct threat to Ottavian (whose power was based on the claim of power Julius Caesar and his position as adopted son). These announcements partially caused a fatal violation of Antony's relationship with the Octavian, who used Roman displeasure on donations to get support for the war against Antony and Cleopatra.
After the defeat of Antony and Cleopatra in the Battle of Actium in 31 BC, Cleopatra has prepared Caesarians to take "the sole ruler without his mother". It may be that he intends to go into exile with Antony, who had hoped that he would be allowed to retire as lepidus. In 30 BC, Kaiserian is again seen in the historical record,
When Octavian attacked Egypt and discovered it. Cleopatra, at 17 years of age, had sent Caesarean to the Red Sea port of Bernesis, possibly as part of plans to avoid India; It may have been sent years ago, but sources are unclear. Plutarch says that the Kaiserian was sent to India, but also that he had vanished from the false promises of the state of Egypt:
The Kaiserian, which was called Julius Caesar's son by Cleopatra, was sent through his mother through Ethiopia, in India, with a lot of treasure. Another teacher Rodrons, like Theodoros, persuaded him to return to the ground, [Ottavian] Caesar invited him to take the state
Octavian occupied the city of Alexandria on August 1, 30, before the date marked the official insertion of Egypt in the Roman Republic.
