Criminal defamation case: Arvind Kejriwal not relieved, HC not found trial
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has not received any relief from the Delhi High Court, to eliminate another case of criminal defamation. The court has refused to stay on the defamation case in the lower court.
This case of defamation was done on Arvind Kejriwal by Pawan Kheda, the political secretary of former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit. The High Court has issued a notice to Pawan Kheda seeking a reply on Arvind Kejriwal's new application.
Kejriwal has applied in the Delhi High Court to cancel his summons and petition on this matter. A petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court to end the criminal defamation case. Because the matter is currently under consideration in the lower court and the trial is expected to be completed soon.
